Aerospace Engineering & Technologies (E&T) China Team, as part of Honeywell Technology Solutions China - an integrated R&D center of Honeywell in China, is a multi-disciplinary team with over 10 years of contributions to Honeywell’s business development in the aerospace industry in China. As one of the largest aerospace R&D engineering team in MNC in China, Honeywell Aerospace T&E China team has 400 scientists and engineers working in various global Center of Excellences on Avionics and Mechanical products and on aircraft programs by almost all airframes including COMAC, AVIC, Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream etc. The team is committed to create the best and new-to-the-world offerings in and out of the aerospace industry. With the dynamic and engaged team, the engineers are working on projects dealing with state-of-the-art Aerospace technologies and developing by fulfilling demanding and challenging duties in a learning-intensive environment.

This position will be located in Shanghai, China. This is the role in ES-ET (Electronic System - Engineering Test) team.

Responsibility:

• Analysis are performed at all levels of total system test solution to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total test systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

• End item test (EIT) for avionic products. Work on EIT solution HW and SW design, development, V&V and on-site support.

• Support the APAC and US factory related End item test, HASS Test ,ATE and other factory required development and process.

• Support simulation test solution system’s software and system development.

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total test systems.

• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

• Support Avionics lab operation.

• Travel and work on-site in other country to involve in global programs.

Qualification:

Primary Qualifications:

• Masters’ degree in electronic Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.

• Experienced in test software development on c, c++, CVI/Labwindows, Labview, python.

• Electrical and Electronics knowledge (Analog & Digital, ability to read & understand schematics, wire lists).

• Experienced in software design and verification or related.

• Experienced in integrated computer network system integration and have test bench design and operation knowledge.

• Experienced in Database such as MySQL application development.

• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills both in Mandarin and English

• Aviation product design or testing experience is highly preferred

• Experienced in communication protocols (ARINC429, CAN, RS232 and RS485), Analog I/O, Discrete I/O and power solution, etc.

• Experienced in Matlab development for control system is a plus.

• Software knowledge on embedded linux OS is preferred.

• Hardware knowledge on Industry PC, PXI and LXI equipment is preferred.

• Good customer interface skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical personnel is preferred

• Experience work with international team and can take oversea short-term on-site work

• Web framework tool knowledge is preferred.
