The shortlisted candidate will be assigned to Government projects to provide support for the implementation of the system and participate in system support tasks and other project activities.

Job Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of system design and technical specification
• Liaise with users and vendors for requirement study, implementation and testing
• Prepare test plan and conduct acceptance test
• Assist in the update of technical documents and the preparation of operation manual
• Assist in the installation/configuration of IT infrastructure and deployment of security patches
• Participate in the security risk assessment and audit exercise
• Perform on-call technical support and other duties as required
• Work irregular hours if necessary
  
  

Requirement Details:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 2 years working experience in IT technical support
• At least 1 year working experience in Windows 08/12 and Linux System administration
• Good knowledge in VM and Oracle database administration is preferable
• Knowledge in SAN and Veritas Backup Exec administration is preferable
• At least 1 year working experience in HP-UX system administration is preferable
• At least 1 year working experience in IT security is preferable
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
• HK Permanent Resident is required
