What you'll do:
In this role the Storage System Lead will lead the technical work for Lenovo’s
Enterprise Storage Systems development. You will lead the DE system design by
technical reviews and discussions with partners and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
• Work as key OEM Partner technical interface for new project introductions
• Maintain Product Requirements Documents, specifications, configurations and
bills-of-material
• Track various Firmware Releases and work closely with Linux open source
compliance and security team to ensure all reviews are completed
• Debug of complex issues and root cause investigation
• Build efficient technical communication within all cross functional teams
and external partners
• Work with Interop test teams to ensure timely updates on Product information
such as, supported Platforms, Options, Firmware etc.
#### Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science,
Computer Engineering or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in Hardware Design and Storage Systems
• Storage industry experience
• Proficient in storage protocols, such as, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NVMe
• Proficient in Linux/Windows/VMWare Operating systems
• Knowledge of HW Development processes
• Knowledge of Server technologies including HW, UEFI, BMC architecture, and
device drivers
• Knowledge of Linux Open Source compliance and Security compliance
requirements
• Experience in programming / scripting
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Hardware, Networking, and Storage debug
• Knowledge of Bills-of-Material maintenance
• Experience in block/file storage and networking technologies
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, quick learner and excellent team player
