Job Description

WCS (Wireless Communication Solutions) group, is a world-class leader in wireless connectivity and the industry's 1st provider of PC WiFi/BT solutions. Our group, called TOP core, is a team of great people defining, developing, and integrating the infrastructure of the product. We own domains like product system states, power, Clocks, and DC schemes, high-speed interfaces both internal and external (STEP, CNVIO, PCIe, etc.), interfaces to the Intel SOC, various shared blocks, debug infra, and more.We're looking for a great engineer who is passionate about integration of software and hardware, starting from early development stages (PreSi env), throughout the development cycle to product launch.

-Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for SoC and E2E system integration, test plan development and execution
  • Identify and communicate technical risks related to the project to the stakeholders.
  • Lead, Plan and execute silicon features integration and automation activities across multiple SoCs.
  • Understands system HW/SW/FW component as a whole and drives test execution and debug with crossfunctional teams.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams (ie system FW Validation and product engineer teams) to generate integration reports for stakeholders.
  • Able to work in an agile environment.

Qualifications

- BSC degree in Electrical Engineering- must.
- 3+ years of experience in development or integration of embedded firmware realtime operating system and HWSW interaction planning and execution- must.
- Experience in building silicon integration infrastructure and test automation- must.
- Hands-on experience in using lab equipment (such as scopes, protocol analyzers, JTAG debuggers etc)-must.

- Knowledge of ASIC design flow - advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in presilicon platforms ( FPGA and emulation)-advantage.

-Knowledge in power flows and automatic measurement - advantage.
- Experience working in a cross-functional and cross-site team environment is essential.
- Problem solving debug and whiteboard skills.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
