The shortlisted candidate will be assigned to Government Department

Job Duties:

• Administer the operation of the Government Office Automation (GOA) systems, including Lotus Notes E-mail System, Confidential Mail System, Mobile Email System, e-Leave System, Network file and print services, Departmental Portal, Software Asset Management System and Direct Fax System
• Administer the operation of all servers, network equipment and security devices in data centres
• Administer the operation of public web servers and intranet web servers
• Provide technical support on the network infrastructure, including network routers, access switches, firewalls, Intrusion Prevention System and anti-virus system, etc.
• Provide technical support on the Internet services, including Internet access, Internet mail exchange, web hosting, virtual private network and Intrusion prevention services, etc.
• Rectify problems relating to the network infrastructure and Internet services.
• Carry out network reconfiguration in response to change requests.
• Any other IT project related tasks and IT system maintenance/support tasks as assigned by supervisor
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 4 years solid working experience in IT of which a min of 2 years relevant experience
• Possession of valid certificate of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Well-versed in H3C network routers and switches configuration
• Knowledge and experience in administration of servers and network equipment
• Strong analytical mind and problem-solving techniques
• Good command of spoken and written of English and Chinese
• HK Permanent Resident is required
