Job Description

As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can chose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P and L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

  • Must have deep expertise of SOC Architecture using industry standard cores such as ARM core, RISC-V Architecture. must have been championing Integration and/or Verification for SOCs in the space of Clients, MCU, Server chiplets etc

  • Should understand CPU Arch, Fabric Arch deeply and must have understanding of practical CPU integration challenges

  • Deep tools and flows expertise in Verification space and track record of delivering zero Silicon defects for more than 10 SOCs

  • Understanding on PCIE, USB protocols needed

  • As some of the Design Services efforts get utilized by Automotive customers, Having deep understanding of FuSA standards, Analysis, Verification and experience of being an FSM at chip or product level is a major plus. Knowledge of ISO26262 will be highly appreciated.

Qualifications

  • The right candidate will bring-in around15 years experience in IP/ASIC Design, Platform Design/Validation, Intel and Industry standard Tools/Flows/Methodology development.

  • Deep understanding of technology issues, IP requirements for HPC/AI/Mobile platforms,

  • Experience in Design-Technology Co-optimization,

  • Understanding of ASIC flows for FE/BE/DFT required.

  • Able to work with internal and external customers to define, influence and finalize Architecture choices, position Intel assets

  • Strong understanding and experience in Foundry process nodes and capabilities

  • Able to drive competitive analysis and position IFS process, IP, packages for the best interests of customer and Intel

  • Understanding customer landscape in Mobile/HPC space will be a major plus.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
