The Embedded Acceleration Division System Solution Engineer (SSE) team is looking for a talented and creative, technical System Process and Quality Engineer to enable the team to deliver the right products at the right time, to the right quality level.
As a System Process and Quality Engineer, you will lead 3 critical process areas: Process Strategy, Project Management, and Project Release.
The successful candidate will have a natural passion for efficiency and streamlining processes, as well as steering and enabling engineering and business groups to develop and deliver world-class Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) System Solutions. You will join a tremendously talented worldwide team, who support each other, to enable the development of a wide range of vertical solutions across many applications, including Medical, Pro-AV, Smart Factory, Robotics, Power Conversion, Radar, and Automotive.
What you will do at Intel
Define and improve our quality processes from requirements capture to engineering product delivery
Tailor processes for system design, Soft IP, and Embedded Software product development and deployment
Align System, IP, SW, and Project Life Cycle (PLC) processes with sister organizations across Intel
Drive and improve Project Prioritization processes for all Embedded SSE Programmers
Project Release Compliance and Governance, working closely with Execution leads
Security Champion for the Embedded Acceleration Division, collaborating with Security and Quality experts across Intel
Improve SSE development productivity and solution quality through new initiatives, continuous improvement, and lessons learned
Qualifications
A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study
Knowledge of systematic process standards and methodologies
Proven success in one of the following:
Driving initiatives to improve software or hardware quality
Engineering development efficiency analysis
Software/Hardware development life cycle specification or governance
