The Embedded Acceleration Division System Solution Engineer (SSE) team is looking for a talented and creative, technical System Process and Quality Engineer to enable the team to deliver the right products at the right time, to the right quality level.

As a System Process and Quality Engineer, you will lead 3 critical process areas: Process Strategy, Project Management, and Project Release.

The successful candidate will have a natural passion for efficiency and streamlining processes, as well as steering and enabling engineering and business groups to develop and deliver world-class Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) System Solutions. You will join a tremendously talented worldwide team, who support each other, to enable the development of a wide range of vertical solutions across many applications, including Medical, Pro-AV, Smart Factory, Robotics, Power Conversion, Radar, and Automotive.

What you will do at Intel

• Define and improve our quality processes from requirements capture to engineering product delivery

• Tailor processes for system design, Soft IP, and Embedded Software product development and deployment

• Align System, IP, SW, and Project Life Cycle (PLC) processes with sister organizations across Intel

• Drive and improve Project Prioritization processes for all Embedded SSE Programmers

• Project Release Compliance and Governance, working closely with Execution leads

• Security Champion for the Embedded Acceleration Division, collaborating with Security and Quality experts across Intel

• Improve SSE development productivity and solution quality through new initiatives, continuous improvement, and lessons learned

Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study

• Knowledge of systematic process standards and methodologies

• Proven success in one of the following:

• Driving initiatives to improve software or hardware quality

• Engineering development efficiency analysis

• Software/Hardware development life cycle specification or governance
