Job Description

The System Quality and Reliability team owns the development and execution of system stress test experiments required for product release to market and for post launch support activities to meet the Quality and Reliability goals across multiple market segments.

This position will be part of the System Customer and Content team that supports product pre and post launch activities such as stress test content development, debug, and validation.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Creating and modifying test content to expand upon feature and component coverage of Intel products.
  • Analyzing and tuning of workloads to characterize their effectiveness within system level stress experiments.
  • Automate test solutions and processes.
  • Debug computer software that prevents correct operation of a system.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum

  • Currently studying a bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ months experience:
    • Programming in one or more high-level (Python, Perl, C#, Java).
    • Working with multiple Operating Systems including Windows and Linux (Red Hat, Fedora, Ubuntu, Centos, SUSE, Clear Linux, etc.).
  • Advanced English level

Preferred

  • Knowledge in version control systems (Git, Gitlab, Github).
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, firmware, and software components
  • Fundamental understanding of Computer Architecture and modern CPU components.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
