The Systems Security Architecture group in the Office of the Intel CTO is responsible for delivering future security capabilities to Intel platforms. Team members have the opportunity to drive the future of security technology for the entire industry. As a member of SSA, you will participate in architecting, developing and prototyping new technologies that make Intel platforms more secure.
Responsibilities include:
Architecture, design, technical oversight, and direction of the development of Intel security technologies.
Research and design of optimal end-to-end secure computing solutions for cloud, cloud native, orchestration, enterprise, edge, IoT, telco cloud, service mesh, networking, microservices, and/or distributed computing.
Engage with major customers to understand use cases, participate in open source and standardization industry work to influence architecture and optimize design.
Interact with technologists and product/product managers across Intel to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.
Makes high-level design choices focused on security, manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, and/or safety for the software structure, protocols, and algorithms.
Qualifications
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Understanding of security principles, threats and technologies
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
C/C++, x86 Assembler, Virtualization, Operating System internals, x86/ARM/RISC-V architecture
Preferred Qualifications:
Diverse understanding of an array of platforms (client, server, mobile, and IoT) for architecture and security topics
Proven experience in leading architecture and design of large and complex solutions
Hands on experience in hardware or software implementation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent influencing and partner skills
Intel Security Architecture and Engineering (SAE) is chartered with developing a comprehensive understanding of current and future security threats, guiding research, and developing solutions and mitigations. SAE develops security architecture and implementation across Intel products.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$149,020.00-$223,560.00
