Our team, Systems and Solutions Engineering, is responsible for developing and integrating advanced Storage technologies into IPU to provide an end-to-end storage solution for the cloud datacenters.

Join our team as a System Software Developer and surround yourself with some of the brightest minds engineers in the world. As a System Software Development Engineer, you will develop device drivers and test scripts to validate the NVMe Over Fabrics and RDMA solutions on a reference FPGA platform. These reference solutions are then delivered for integration into customer platforms. In this role, you will not only develop the solution but will play a crucial role in demonstrating the technology in order to win new customers.

Qualifications

Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience, experience should include

• Experience in developing system software, test scripts (e.g. Smart NIC, Storage products).

• Experience with system-level validation, lab environment, PCIe boards, performance benchmarks.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following is considered a plus

• Experience with NVMe, RDMA protocols, and/or network topologies.

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
