We're looking for talented engineers to deploy and sustain factory automation software that enables Intel to manufacture leading edge semiconductors as part of its Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) organization.
As a System Software Development Engineer, you will partner with other software engineers, process technology and manufacturing engineers to deploy, test and troubleshoot integrated software systems that improve manufacturing output and productivity for all of Intel's world-wide manufacturing plants. These state-of-the-art systems control factory equipment, track the product as it moves through the factory, measures product features, detect defects, handle materials, collect and analyze data, optimize factory scheduling and enable efficient factory operations.
Regular work hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. In addition, the job requires one to be on-call, during off-hours, for one week every few weeks.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology-related discipline is required at a minimum or expect the required degree by June 2022.
Minimum of 3 months of experience in the following:
Windows operating systems, including the willingness to comprehend and manage XML configuration files, log files, diagnostic tools, software versions, etc.
Software engineering practices, testing methodologies, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with C# .NET, XML, WCF, WPF, TFS, PL/SQL, Oracle DB.
Understanding of Network Load Balancing and Failover clusters.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
