As a System Software Development Engineer you will …

• Design, develop, integrate, test, validate, and/or debug software across multiple layers of the software stack
• Apply your knowledge and experience to quality solutions spanning firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI
• Develop software to enable specific features, capabilities, solutions, reference platforms, or Intel products.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 2+ years of experience.
• 2+ years of experience programming and scripting experience in C, Python, PERL, or TCL,.
• 2+ years of experience hardware and software debugging.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering fields.
• 5+ years of experience with traffic tools like IXIA, Spirent, XENA.
• 5+ years of experience with wireless domain.
• 3+ years of experience with IP services, Access Control, QoS TCP/IP, Networking concepts and protocols, using Multicore CPUs.
• 3+ years of experience with Operating System level experience including UBoot kernel, bring-up; etc.
