We are now recruiting a contract role for our client in public sector to design and implement the new application architecture to support the delivery of digital government services.

Job Duties:

• Formulate and design the new Application Architecture for delivering government applications on the cloud platforms
• Develop working prototypes based on the new architecture by applying contemporary cloud technologies including container hosting and orchestration, API management gateway, DevOps, etc.
• Participate in the technical implementation of the new architecture
• Support pilot projects and government departments to adopt the new architecture for developing the digital government services, including preparation of technical guidelines

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Over 4 years of working experience in IT
• Good knowledge and experience in infrastructure design, planning, implementation, administration and monitoring for container hosting and management platform
• Knowledge and experience in virtualisation technology including compute, storage and network
• Knowledge and experience in networking including the setup of load balancers, firewalls, routers, switches for large-scale networks, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in server storage e.g. NAS, SAN, NFS, etc.
• Strong analytic mind and problem solving techniques
• Hard-working and self-motivated with positive attitudes
• A good team-player with competent communication and interpersonal skills
