The shortlisted candidate will be assigned to Government to maintenance and technical support the network & front-end devices

Job Description:

• Manage the performance & utilization of IT equipment and network
• Manage Help Desk staff to provide first level maintenance & support services including execution of daily routines and incident follow-up
• Lead Analyst Programmer to troubleshoot technical problems occurred in different servers, network, PC workstations and printers
• Work with Application Development team to restore system service when there are system service interruptions
• Process change requests
• Compile periodic reports such as monthly System Service Level report and Monthly System Maintenance Report
• Participate projects such as security risk assessment & audit, oracle upgrade, JBOSS server upgrade, LINUX upgrade which are executed by project teams established by SOA contractors
• Assist to compile the financial budget for software and hardware maintenance services
• Keep track of IT equipment and software inventory in various locations
• Process cabling work requests and IT equipment replacement requests which are raised by end users
• Work with Application Development Team and assist users to complete the disaster recovery drill periodically
• Work at irregular hours may be required
• Other duties as requested by Supervisor
  
  

Job Requirement:

• Degree holder of above in Computer Sciences / Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification information technology experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in JBoss Application Server, Linux System Administration, Virtual LAN/LAN Switching and Windows Server 2008/2012
• At least 1 years’ experience in Project Management
• Solid experiences in Windows Server & Red HAT LINUX systems and network maintenance, administration & monitoring
• Experience in the configuration of Cisco/Huawei network equipment, router, switch & firewall
• Proficiency in Apache, Windows server 2012, Active Directory & DNS
• Experiences in configuration & administration of Oracle servers and SAN storage would be advantage
• Excellent spoken and written level in both English and Chinese languages
• Experience with government standards and processes would be advantage
• Strong problem solving and analytical skill
• Responsible, pro-active, independent and able to work under pressure
