• Validate the functionality of software products or the system functionality, according to the specific requirements or specifications by defining, developing, adapting and/ or using manual or automated tests within a predefined project plan considering processes, procedures and testing quality standards.
• Develop test specifications for functionalities of medium complexity or for smaller projects according to given requirements and specifications.
• Manage, perform tests and develop reports according to the defined test process.
• Collaborate in development of test strategies.
• Develop complex functionalities for test systems used in manual or automated tests, according to project requirements and specifications
• Develop new test technologies, contribute to test concepts
• Integrate all test environment components (HW, SW & Mechanic) according to the project needs
• Ensure testing equipment availability for test groups
• Provides input for planning the needed equipment
• Plan and estimate effort of tests
• Perform self-test management for high complexity projects (e.g. track his own activities, communicate delays etc.)

• Bachelor or Master degree (e.g. Computer Engineering/Science, Electronics, Communications)
• Min. 5 years relevant working experience
• Min. 2 relevant projects completed
• Specialist in system testing
• Experience in process lifecycle
• Knowledge on test automation
• Practical experience using test tools: instrumentation for measurement and control (e.g. oscilloscope, power supply, CANoe) – Expert level
• Practical programming experience (e.g. C, Visual Basic, CAPL) – Expert level
• Electronics knowledge (e.g. knowledge of the functionality of discreet components, reading schematics) – Advanced level
• Embedded systems knowledge – Advanced level
• Automotive System know-how – Advanced level
• Electronics manufacturing knowledge (e.g. knowledge of ECU production process) – Advanced level
• English language – Advanced level
• Experience in Automotive Electronics product testing
• Knowledge of Vehicle Network Protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
• Knowledge of Vehicle Diagnostics functions
• Knowledge of AutoSAR
