Intel's newest processors are delivering high performance at low power and are ramping at the fastest rate in Intel's history! To assure that Intel ships the highest quality processors, the Post-Silicon Functional Validation team develops and executes tests to discover and help resolve functional issues within the processor. Additionally the team participates in the development of processor features to facilitate validation and debug. In this position, you will be responsible for the development of tests that execute in a system validation environment and participating in the debug and resolution of any discovered functional issues.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must be pursuing a Master's/PhD degree in Electrical, Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 3+ months experience in:
Computer Architecture and Programming
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Post-Si validation experience
Experience with Python development
Familiarity with debug tools and methodology
