The OCTO Group (Chief Technology Office) for DCAI (Data Center and Artificial Intelligence) are looking for a highly motivated Engineer, who is interested in working in a environment that will launch new Intel products into the markets.
The Validation Enabling Tools and Prototyping team within the Data Center and Artificial Intelligence Group develops solutions that address the challenges delivering high-quality hardware and firmware. It is focused on delivering disruptive software and hardware technologies that will transform Network and datacenter operations and improve user experience.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
This is an entry level position and it will be compensated accordingly.
Length of the internship: 12 months
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/ classes/ research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must be pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
6+ months of experience in the following:
Computer architecture.
Firmware
SoC
Preferred Qualifications
6+ months of experience in some of the following:
Threat modeling
Security analysis & vulnerability assessment.
Security technologies: authentication, cryptography, ring protection, etc.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
