Responsibilities include: Perform duties relating to the development, maintenance, and support of the organization’s information technology Server and operating systems management, systems administration, maintenance, and related responsibilities will be part of day-to-day functions Monitor server performance and administer and maintain the organizations server systems, ensuring proper working order Document internal policies Analyze and resolve problems associated with server hardware/software Responsible for systems backup and recovery Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives Support the programming of a large enterprise automated physical access control and intrusion detection (ACS/IDS) system application Programming of various devices configured to operate with the ASC/IDS application Troubleshoot various devices Requirements include: Minimum four (4) years’ experience building and administering Windows 2003 servers required Experience in end-user support and administration of Window 2003 environments inclusive of Active Directory user, workstation, and server administration Knowledge of software distribution package (i.e. MSI files, OSD files and third party installers) creation and distribution a plus Experience managing Citrix environments also a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Perfmon and Windows scripting preferred Strong problem-solving skills and methodical troubleshooting are required Ability to learn new skills and keep current with rapidly changing information technology Ability to work independently and be available for after-hours support as needed MCSA or MCSE 2003 required and ITIL Foundations a plus Knowledge of physical security automated access control applications Knowledge of automated workflow ticketing systems Employees of Siemens Government Technologies may be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with the workplace safety protocols for Federal contractors and subcontractors pursuant to Executive Order 14042 or state/local laws and regulations Security Requirements: Candidate must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance Organization: Country Functions & Departments Company: Siemens Government Technologies, Inc.
