Eaton’s expanding eMobility Division is currently seeking a Test Engineer to join our team in Tczew, Poland. This position will work with automotive low voltage and high voltage EV products. Relocation and Sponsorship is not available for this role. We make the electric revolution work. The Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of all phases of assigned engineering projects. Interface with senior engineers for problem solving, product improvement, requirements definition, and other issues as needed. Work with a cross-functional team to optimize design choices and meet the customer’s expectations. Drive the development of eMobility Power Distribution and Protection products Gain knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems, and work with customers to provide innovative and valuable system, subsystem, and component level solutions to their vehicle challenges Follows departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions Applies engineering concepts through product development stages: architecture design, risk analysis, engineering analysis, and validation testing to resolve engineering challenges Prepares comprehensive engineering reports detailing technical issues and recommendations Analyzes test and measurement data utilizing Design for Six Sigma Engineering Tools (DFSS) Works closely with higher-level engineers to increase functional knowledge Maintains understanding of products, manufacturing processes, and product applications Complies with the policies, procedures, and expectations outlined by Eaton’s Management System for the Environment, Safety, Security, and Health (MESH) and Quality Management Systems Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with automotive industry or technology Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field Strong communication skills Experience or knowledge with hybrid and/or electric vehicles Experience with die castings, stampings, injection mold plastics, and PCB assemblies Experience with MATLAB/Simulink tools Experience with software development Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
