IP and Competitive Analytics Long Term Roadmaps and Projections (IPCA LRP) influence the Intel Roadmap for future products and IP development and anticipate competitive threats before they materialize, being a center of excellence for benchmarking performance, power, and competitive analysis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and help us to accelerate the client value through delivering Software solutions and Automation to the team's daily work, ensuring that projects meet quality and timeline requirements, according to our key business priorities.
The qualified candidate will join IPCA LRP CR as a student worker and will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects as part of Software and Automation and scripting development as well as data collection, analysis, characterization, and data visualization. The main focus of this position will be on software development for our daily use tools, which allow us to automatically do system setups, data collection, data visualization, and data standardization.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications.
Candidate must be pursuing a BS degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or any engineering related field
6+months of academic experience in:
- Data structures, algorithms, and Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) knowledge.
- Python, Bash for Linux, Powershell for Windows knowledge.
Intermediate to advanced English Level
Candidate must have the unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica
Willing to remain as an active student for at least 1 year
Preferred Qualifications
- Application Development and Databases knowledge.
- SW Testing/Verification knowledge.
- Version control and continuous integration tools knowledge. (GIT, GITHUB, SVN, etc)

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
