This exciting role offers opportunity to:
- Work with Global Program Manager to develop streamlined, standardized global process efficiencies to increase global deployments
- Deploy strategic roll out of a global T&E solution to new countries and acquisitions to enhance footprint of standardized T&E solution with implementing integrations between Oracle and SAP ERP and American Express
- Participate/Lead/Initiate cross-functional process improvement project teams aimed to improve efficiencies, standardizations, innovation, quality of processes and controls with the use of digitization to align with Finance strategic plans and initiatives by providing technical and business process knowledge
- Partner with Internal Audit to further refine audit checks for T&E and Purchasing Card, utilizing dashboards and following up on data produced from analysis
- Document clear and complete offerings and guide new deployments to the appropriate solutions which include standard functionality and global processes. Participating in discussions of local/regional requirements and decision making to drive agreement on the expense process and controls and ensure strict governance and controls for exceptions and error handling
- Drive fact-based decision making and project execution utilizing project methodology and governance processes in an expedient manner
- In-depth functional and business process knowledge of T&E and PCard applications, interfaces, and data integration models
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions with outlying business process owners to define global processes and identify implication of changes in source systems on T&E / PCard systems (eg Internal Audit, Tax, HR, SCM, IT, Oracle, SAP, Concur)
- Engage with third party providers to leverage new technology to enhance processing (American Express, Citibank, Concur)
- Demonstrate analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, decompose high level information into details, driving root cause analysis applicable to the travel expense and purchasing card
- Strong communication skills with the ability to break down complex system issues utilizing common business language to present to various audiences (senior level divisional, regionalized)
- Support end to end processing within T&E and PCard with an intermediate level understanding of touch points and data integrations
- Functions as T&E/P-Card subject-matter expert
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Finance
- 7 to 10 years of finance/IT experience with an emphasis on accounts payable, travel expense and data models
- Minimum 7 years of advanced SQL hands on knowledge/experience
- Six Sigma Certification (desired)
- Ability to understand complex business needs and data model solutions
- Strong understanding of the relevant business processes and supporting data models (HR) as related to T&E and P-Card
- Able to interact with and discuss business process requirements and changes with divisional and regional leadership
- Works with cross-functional modules (Oracle/SAP), applying proven standards and techniques, developing new techniques, and designing and configuring complex solutions.
- Ability to fully understand the interrelationship to other modules and third-party tools.
- Works as a functional leader to other team members.
- Educates and trains business functional teams on solutions to meet the business needs
