Job Description
Eaton’s Lightning division is currently seeking a Técnico de Ingeniería de Manufactura to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez facility. The Técnico de Ingeniería de Manufactura is responsible for generate, issue, review, distribute and control documentation related to engineering department, as well; documentation such as BOMs, drawings, specifications, work instructions, visual aids, routings, among others. Manage projects with support of Manufacturing Engineering Some activities related with the position will be: Maintain and keep updated information related to manufacturing lines, Notify to whom is required where there is a new or updated information from Eng Dept Support Manufacturing lines and Production dept Follow up prototype, special and/or controlled runs Manage database and supporting documentation for new/upgraded equipment Support in determining manufacturing methods and machine or line loading to produce parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies for new products or customer orders requiring extensive planning consistent with overall division objectives. Able to quote and support planning for tooling such as jigs, fixtures, special tools, and similar items. Document technical specifications for new equipment and manage capital projects. Do studies of required workflow and material handling devices including storage areas, work areas, and workplace layout Support on the preparation of Operation line-ups to manufacture all parts for a product line or for a section. Provide training, guidance and technical support to leaders, operators and team members. Support Lean, Six Sigma, and Pro Launch through the creation of Process Maps, Standard Work, Takt Times, Potential Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments, Control Plans, and Job Safety Analysis for production lines. #LI-DS1 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Technical career or equivalent experience. One Year in a manufacturing facility environment. Knowledge in documentation control Knowledge in Project planning Working knowledge in computer software Microsoft Office (Excel,, Word, Power Point, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications: Capacity for decision taking. Proactive.
