PRIMARY FUNCTION: Audits the manufacturing process to ensure controls defined in Control plan are followed up accordingly, reducing the process variation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Critical reasoning for release of nonconforming material. Problem solving based in 8D Elimination of quality issues by documenting and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Production line support Attend & contain quality issues Perform and Follow up to LPA process Ensure LPA process by auditing process and monitoring the compliance of the audits, and updating the Checklist Final Product Audit. Communicate quality issues to production line / Lead TIER I & II meetings with production team. Scrap and Non-conforming material control Monitor and assurance of the SPC is being used accordingly to the procedures Evaluate the capability of the processes to maintain and improve the quality levels Update on time the quality metrics Perform and Follow up to RUIs format. Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Engineering bachelor’s degree in process 1 year experience in similar area. Yellow Belt Certification is a plus PC use and office software knowledge IATF 16949/ISO 9001 criteria, EQMS criteria Problem solving methodology (8Ds, A3, 3R or similar) MSA, PPAP, Control Plan, AMEF, SPC and use of Infinity QS All areas of inspection such as techniques, principles, procedures and know how. Experience with machining process like, turning, shaper, Makino machine, grinding, HT process is a plus. Experience with runoff of new machines. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Proactive & results driven. Overall success is predicated upon the urgent and immediate action taken when issues arise. It is important that the quality technician understands the manufacturing process ability to produce a quality part to the control plan requirement.
