Product Planning Manager is responsible for defining the product strategy, planning and initiation of Product Project, including: defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product requirements, and working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to ensure business case targets and customer satisfaction goals are met.

What You Will Do

- Handle complete product portfolio of Heavy Duty Trucks and All Buses and ensure that the product offerings are always superior compared to competition
- Handle a team of 4-5 team members and lead all the product planning tasks and projects related to HDT and Buses
- Define Future projects related to HDT and Buses portfolio and timely initiate the projects with cross functional teams
- Work with internal stakeholders from marketing, legal, operations, Finance, procurement and supply chain etc. including executive management to translate business needs into a product requirements.
- Align product requirements with R&D and prepare technical proposals for financial evaluation
- Establish product delivery timelines in close collaboration with the development team.
- Present various product proposals with business case and timeline proposals to Top management 
- Design processes, workflows and functional components to improve efficiencies.
- Keep stakeholders updated on project process and trade-offs.
- Lead and resolve questions and conflicts across organizational stakeholders.
- Be an impactful contributor within the group.

What you will need to have

- More than 10 years of automotive Product planning/ Product management / Project management experience
- Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Management
- Demonstrated success defining and launching technology driven consumer facing products
- Proven ability to understand the business and engineering sides and get into technical detail
- Ability to assume a strong sense of responsibility and ownership in a fast paced environment
- Excellent project management skills - delivery and action oriented
- Superior communication skills
- Experience in Daimler or Mitsubishi Fuso products is a plus
- Ability to handle changing tasks and priorities and adapt quickly
