Description of the department
In our department, Life Cycle Management Truck Asia, we are responsible to

- Lead product projects such as full model changes and major changes from project planning to market launching according to the project process

- Lead minor changes for series products according to the series change process

- Lead /support corporate projects such as new market introduction of our products and vehicle supply to partners as OEM

- Support cost reduction activities as a vehicle project leader

- Mainly cover triad markets such as Japan, Europe, the US etc

 
Your Roles and Tasks


You will be responsible for Product Projects and Series Management projects and will broadly focus on three areas:
- Planning : Creating project plan and defining key project milestones

- Steering: Execution of project as per project plan and requirements. It involves coordination with other departments, and integrating their efforts to achieve project milestone


- Reporting: Preparing project report for visualization of project status and for review by top-management

 Due to the widespread range of task there is a great chance for personal and professional growth. Through this position which requires a lot of project coordination and steering leadership skills will be developed fast.
Beside the daily and project work training courses for your further enhancement of capabilities will be offered. Over the time, you will take over increasing responsibility and represent Fuso or department in committees once having excellent practical business knowledge.
 
Global Element (Frequency of involvement with foreign countries and foreigners) 




The position is not only strongly cross-functional embedded, but also globally. Based on our new Business Model all project activities are integrated now. Therefore, you will closely collaborate with our colleagues in India. Further you stay in contact to the colleagues in other operating units.
 
 

Practical knowledge and experiences
 - Working experience for at least 3 years in associated business fields. There is an opportunity for new graduate with good potential.

 
Personal skill requirement
- Project management skills.

- Technical background of commercial vehicles.

- Strategic and conceptual thinking competence, strong analytical skills, intercultural adjustment competence, good communication skills.


- Economic and financial understanding.


Language skills
 - English proficient and Japanese preferred
 

PC Skills 

- WORD, Powerpoint, Excel

- Communication ability, presentation ability, cooperative personality, active, rational, and flexible mindset
