Job Description

    - Focused on Post sale technical field support to all customers.
  • Involvement in and responsibility for on-site installation, customer training, education and/or troubleshooting on QIAGEN solutions, including consumables, instrumentation and applications in all markets. Some repair work may be required.
  • Contribute to achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance, performing IQ/OQ.
  • Develop and maintain highest possible level of technical knowledge and networking.
  • Maintain medium level knowledge of automation / instrumentation and related applications.
  • Provide second –tier support for Sales and Technical Support by performing trainings, seminars for internal and external customers.
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers.
  • Maintaining highest customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of reference customers.
  • Actively promote QIAGEN products including Service and Support products and assist in exceeding revenue targets.
  • Utilize all available tools such as Service Reports, Spare Part & Service Manuals, ISI Notes, and the relevant databases to input information that will increase effectiveness.
  • 12. Give active feedback to Sales, Marketing, Global Product Support, Global Training and your team/management.
    13.Manage effective available time and resources
    14. Provide cross-border/district/region support when required.
    15. Positively represent QIAGEN in front of the customer, be a good example!
    Position Requirements

    - At least University degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biological Science or equivalent experience., preferable Automation experience and Master Degree.
  • Preferable minimum of 1 years service and support experience in a comparable position within the after sales service business.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of QIAGEN and/or competitor products for all market segments.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Written and verbal English language communication skills, additional languages highly desirable.
  • Ability to follow business processes and give feedback.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a structured working environment.
  • Previous experience in Biotech or Clinical lab environment is a plus.
  • 9. Proven work experience in developing customer relationships.
    Personal Requirements

    - Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a structured working environment.
  • Extensive travel required (60% and up).
