The successful candidate will be able to teach Biology to the UK I/GCSE and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Relevant experience in these, or comparable courses is desirable. In addition to experience in Biology, the ability to teach Chemistry to I/GCSE level would be advantageous.

There is the further opportunity for suitably skilled applicants to take on the promotional position of Junior Science Co-ordinator as part of their role. The Junior Science Co-ordinator is responsible for the combined Science curriculum in Year 7 and takes a leading role in curriculum development to ensure continuity from Primary through to Year 9. Applicants interested in this additional role should indicate as such in their application letter.
