The Teacher of Mathematics will be required to teach throughout the English Secondary Department. The successful candidate will be able to teach UK I/GCSE and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Mathematics to higher level. Relevant experience in this, or comparable courses, is desirable.

The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner who is dedicated to enabling each child to achieve the highest possible standards. She/he will be expected to be up-to-date with current teaching and learning practices with regards to differentiated learning, assessment and reporting. She/he will be a dynamic, open-minded and enthusiastic practitioner who is dedicated to providing learning opportunities for every student commensurate to her/his needs, abilities and stage of development, by teaching a programme that gives each student the opportunity to experience success, and which challenges all students to achieve their full potential. GSIS runs an extensive programme of Mathematics enrichment activities, including competitions, a commitment to contribute to this programme is necessary for the role.
