We are currently looking for a new teacher at EF Baotou, Inner Mongolia, for an immediate star, and ideally looking for a native English speaker, who has a TEFL certificate or equivalent and is 24 years old or over. This is due to new rules set by the Chinese government which makes getting a work visa for anyone under 24 a little difficult.

Baotou has a population of 2.5 million people, it is developing at a very quick pace and has changed a lot in the year I have been living in the city. Although it has a population of 2.5 million people it still manages to have a small town vibe to it.

The city itself lies to the north of the Kubuqi desert and to the south of the grasslands and mountains, there are lots of parks around the city, meaning you are never far away from somewhere to relax.

The diverse location of the city means that summer is hot, you can relax in the parks, go to the grasslands or go mounting climbing. In winter it gets cold which gives you opportunities to go skiing or snowboarding in the mountains. So whatever it is you like to do, there is some time in the year you'll be able to do it.

There is a wide variety of food available in the city and Baotou is home of Mongolian hot pot and to the chain of restaurants which translated into English is called Little Fat Sheep, which has restaurants in North America and Europe.
