Job Description

SAP Logistics Superuser/SME is a member of the team supporting daily Global SAP S/4 HANA Transportation Management (TM) logistics activities in support of Albemarle’s Global Business Units

This logistic role reports to the Director of Logistics Technology & Network Optimization and is governed by policies and frameworks established by Albemarle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• SAP SCM (SAP Supply Chain Management) - SAP TM

• Liaison between SAP IT and End Users for support and incident resolution

• Unit testing SAP TM scenarios for forwarding orders, purchase orders, stock transport orders, and sales orders

• Supporting defect remediation for SAP TM

• Working collaboratively with other Supply chain and Quote to Cash process team members and client resources

• SAP report generation and analysis

• Using project tracking tools to keep action items and issues associated with assigned tasks up to date

• Providing input to Team lead for status tracking

• Preparing for and delivering customer demonstrations of the solution as it is built

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain / Logistics, Information Systems, Business or related field

ADDITIONAL, SKILLS, CAPABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates must have the following experience or working knowledge:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant or similar work experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA TM

• Chemical industry experience preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Excellent negotiation and influential skills

• Data driven, addresses partner and customer needs

• Ability to plan and prioritize work

• Strong sense of urgency and follow through

• Proficient User of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• Ability to participate in cross-functional, team-oriented environment

• Ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership internally and externally
