The Team Member Attendant is responsible for the daily dormitory operations such as public area cleaning, safety checks, and team member check in / out records, etc., providing a comfortable environment to all in-house team members, and ensures that daily work meets hotel policy requirements and related standards.

What will I be doing?

As the Team Member Residence Attendant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Arrange the check in / out matters according to the given name list and hotel procedures.

• Record and maintain dormitory goods and material storage, ensuring that all processes are in line with proper procedures.

• Conduct monthly storage checks and submit inventory reports as well as other related reports.

• Patrol the staff dormitory every workday and deal with problems immediately.

• Carry out safety and security risk checks, arrange for maintenance immediately when necessary and make patrolling records.

• Deter improper behavior that does not comply to dormitory rules, reporting to department leaders to take action if needed.

• Responsible for the sanitation in dormitory public areas, maintaining the surrounding neatness in accordance to hotel and landlord requirements.

• Check and monitor in-house team members to clean the dormitory rooms and keep them tidy, clean and safe.

• Distribute living goods to new check-ins, and check that the goods are return when they leave.

• Check and record dormitory visitors, decline visiting visitors from staying overnight in the dormitory.

• Able to introduce the facilities’ usage to new check-in team members.

• Daily check that facilities are in good condition and ensure that utility supplies are sufficient.

• Propose the procurement request to HR leaders to ensure sufficient supply, storing them well and distributing the related goods to team members.

• Responsible for the maintenance request submissions, following-up with them ensuring that they are well repaired and maintained.

• Communicate well with live-in team members, offering prompt assistance according to their needs.

• Complete tasks assigned by your direct manager, collecting any information concerning shift dormitories to report.

• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Responsible for keeping keys according to the keys management policies.

• Assist in periodically carrying out dormitory hygiene and safety checks, promptly summarizing and reporting the results.

• Assist your manager with cleanliness checks at least twice a month and submit a report on it.

• Keep good communications with dormitory property owners.

• Check and clean linens returned by check-out team members for recycling usage.

• Perform other duties / instructions assigned by the HR department.

• Junior High School degree and above.

• Experience in the same position in an international branded hotel or comparable industry.

• Good communication, organization and coordination skills.

• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.

• Patient and flexible.

• Able to maintain excellent relations with team members.

• Able to work under pressure.

• Familiar with computer systems, preferred.
