We are looking forward to a Product Engineer in Eaton’s Golf business, based in Tainan, Taiwan. This exciting role offers opportunity to: Lead the quick turnaround of prototype samples to achieve on-time delivery of design freeze. Lead APAC OEM product development - Single point contact with OEM customer, develop project brief, allocate all development activities based on performance requirement. Support NA product development - Recipe and allocation of tasks based on Product Brief. Facilitate and contribute the design to manufacturing activities. Work with material and design leaders to evaluate tools/materials with regard to performance specifications. Facilitate and coordinate product development timeline, tasks and progress thru develop, pilot and PPAP (including hand off to production team). Coordinate technology data transfer between APAC and Global Innovation Center in Pinehurst, NC Ensure all product documentation is managed and controlled in a central database (ENOVIA) in accordance with Change Management Policies. Facilitator of ongoing product review, risk mitigation, lessons learned and product/design standards. Continuously look for opportunities to find creative solutions to product hurdles. Qualifications Master or Doctoral degree. Basic Qualifications Master degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. 1~3 years of experience in product development leader. 1-3 years experience in an advanced concept development/product innovation role. 1-2 years working knowledge of document standards and document control. Proficient English Language Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years experience in golf, sporting goods, or consumer products industries. Technical knowledge Basic Qualifications Project and product management. Design for manufacture experience through material or process. Polymer, rubber, molding and tooling relatived industry. Excellent written and spoken English Preferred Qualifications Project Management, Patent Analysis, 6 Sigma, Statistical Process Control, 8D problem solving. DOE. Golf/sporting good experience a preferred qualification Soft skills Ability to work with minimal supervision in fast paced environment Comfortable working cross-functionally with integrated project teams Ability to receive, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Good analytical skills Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written Awareness of international cultures Yes!
