This exciting role offers opportunity to: Responsible to lead a team developing rubber compound formulations, strategic material technology development, and continuously improving material and process science know how and technology to support product development. Develop all material compound recipes to support NA and APAC OEM projects Deliver materials to support rapid prototyping, trials Facilitate material compound/recipe introduction to production thru Pilot/PPAP Materials - Knowledge management of the control plan and lessons learned to achieve robust product ramp up. Lead materials development SCRUM meetings TWN COE Leader for Materials Facilitate and collect program lessons learned for Materials Support development of GMS and process standards Responsible for Materials change control process Responsible for materials/recipes document control Collaborate with the global matl leader to be a local champion to establish system and document standard procedures for rubber compounding, mixing, sheeting, and testing to ensure global standards are being met. This includes rubber compounding, color development, and paint development. Manage material, recipe and process documents to support product launch and production in Enovia/Biovia system. Lead material development/compounding/mixing specific technology evaluation with COE teams to excise design for manufacture from pre-launch to pro-launch stage. Lead the TW materials development and collaborate with global COE teams to achieve on-time delivery of pre-production part approval process. Lead the globally collective material development and prepare the data package transfer between sites. Manage daily work of material and process engineers and technicians. Qualifications Requirement: Master degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or Materials Science from an accredited institution. Design for manufacture experience (2+ year) through material and process. Polymer, rubber, molding industry and tooling relatived industry (Total 4+ year). Manage of People (3+ year), Project Leader (4+ year) Proficient English Language Project Management, Patent Analysis, 6 Sigma, Statistical Process Control, 8D problem solving. DOE.
