What you will do:

 

You will built-up and lead a team responsible for the definition and implementation of the charging infrastructure strategy as well as customer system consulting for FUSO Asia. This include the design and implement product offers and services together with internal and external partners to enable the operations of our eVehicles at the end-customer. This include the build-up of the overall ecosystem offer in Asia, creating a consulting team to conduct consulting projects for our customers, piloting offers together with customers as well as external partners, define and implement the charging infrastructure and energy supply strategy, coordinate installation and maintenance of charging infrastructure and develop an optimal charge management approach for our customers.

 

Your tasks in detail:

- Lead/Steer and further develop the function-overarching, agile eMobility Consulting Teams:

- Build up, lead and further development of agile consulting team (direct report) for future eMobility customers of Fuso Trucks in Asia as well as for the cross-functional internal contact partners within sales, after sales, IT, Connectivity and DFS.

- Business development and design of ecosystem offer eMobility:

- Development of global product solutions and services for eMobility end-customers as well as customization onto customer or country specific needs.

- Creation of global Ecosystem solutions along the customer journey. This includes the development of sales, after sales, connectivity, IT and financial products.

- Co-creation of product offerings and services together with global customer system consulting teams in Portland and Stuttgart.

- Cross-function exchange with colleagues of our eMobility teams as well as other Daimler divisions like Passenger Car, Vans and Bus.


Consulting projects:


- Conduct expert-talks in front of customer and validate created product offerings with the customer. 

- Create concept to include sales department into process (Mid-term, incl. trainings)

- Piloting offers together with external partners:

- Pilot of consulting offers together with external consulting agencies, IT providers and other relevant companies.

- Identification of relevant partners, contract alignment and assignment of external partners companies.


- Charging infrastructure:

Development and creation of strategies for charging infrastructures incl. the identification of perfectly fitting hardware solutions and service-portfolio to complete our offer of e-vehicles towards our customer.

Negotiation of contracts and cooperation-models with relevant partners (possibly external) .


- Energy supply:

Identification of external energy suppliers and negotiation of economical beneficial energy contracts. Target: Safe guard the future supply of energy with competitive pricing.


- Installation and maintenance of infrastructure:

Independent definition and planning of concepts for installation and maintenance of charging infrastructure (customer) in Asia as well as charging infrastructure in Asian Truck plans. Ensure and coordinate the operations of infrastructure components. 


- Charge management:

Creating best possible charging concepts for customers (e.g. by using software application) to ensure competitive and customer orientated charging cycles. Monitor relation between charging infrastructure and energy availability. Management and analysis of customer data to optimize our service offerings, alignment with Truck sales department.   

- Methods/process development and reporting:

Creation of necessary methods and processes to drive an agile work environment as well as create of presentations and reports for top-management.

 

What you should bring to the table:
        

- Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s degree in technical, economics or business        field with minimum 5 years of practical experience


- Knowledge of charging challenges and solutions for eVehicles with relevant work experience.


- Knowledge in automotive batteries, energy and charging management


- Technological understand of eMobility and automotive engineering, esp. for trucks




What you need to succeed:

 
- Experience in business consulting and sales
- Experience with leading a team and working globally with intercultural intelligence in a cross functional context


- Strong communication and team skills


- Deep knowledge in project management


- Ability and willingness to travel globally


- Fluent in English, Japanese; German desirable
