You will specifically be required to create, test and improve methods to optimize e-Truck charging.  With the support of selected partners, you will develop simulation tools and rate schedules to optimize fleet charging strategies as well as provide expert knowledge on rate schedules to customers and assist when needed in rate schedule negotiations with utilities. Your target will therefore be to support the E-Mobility Group through the creation and coordination of utility strategies between customers and different stakeholders such as energy and construction companies or government related entities for electric commercial vehicle operations.
You will also need to create and implement a customer screening process to ascertain a customer’s readiness for e-mobility.  Thereafter you will need to be ready to consult customers on the benefits of energy management software, advise them how best to meet their energy needs, and reduce the run costs of commercial EV fleets.  Giving advice to the customer on how to receive energy from green sources, thereby creating a carbon-zero fleet, will also be required.
When setting up charging infrastructure at customer sites you will be ready to create proposals for the use of energy management software depending on customer needs.  Thereafter you will assist in the implementation process as well as education and support of customers when they are interacting with any applicable IT backend.
At times, you will need to support Fuso R&D, and strategic industry partners to develop and propose new software solutions that meet Fuso’s charging needs now and in the future.
In the ever-evolving world of electric vehicles, you will also need to improve Fuso’s competitive market position by keeping up to date with state-of-the-art equipment for commercial fleet charging and relevant industry standards as well as developments in the energy industry.  Additionally the this knowledge that you gain by broadening your expertise outside of your immediate responsibilities and becoming an expert in e-mobility topics in general will be crucial during customer interactions.
