Your Roles and Tasks


Your role in the team will be to act as the key window person for charging infrastructure for customers of electric commercial vehicles of Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks as well as internal Daimler Trucks and Buses colleagues from a variety of departments. Your target will be to offer the best solution and services to enable our customers to make the change towards the new age of mobility.
This will primarily include finding and negotiating with charging infrastructure suppliers to create a portfolio of high quality, cost-effective devices that we can offer alongside our e-vehicles. 
You will also need to create and implement a customer screening process to ascertain a customer’s readiness for e-mobility.  Thereafter you will need to be ready to consult customers on how to install and maintain the charging infrastructure to meet the energy needs of their commercial EV fleet.
Following this, and when requested by customers, you will be ready to provide a full infrastructure installation service through high-level coordination of suppliers and partners and generally manage all relationships and activities related to the successful installation and maintenance of depot-based charging infrastructure.  This will also require giving advice on any relevant incentives.
In the ever-evolving world of electric vehicles, you will also need to improve Fuso’s competitive market position by keeping up to date with state-of-the-art equipment for commercial fleet charging and relevant industry standards as well as developments in the energy industry.  Additionally the this knowledge that you gain by broadening your expertise outside of your immediate responsibilities and becoming an expert in e-mobility topics in general will be crucial during customer interactions.




 

Personal skill requirement


- Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical engineering/power engineering/civil engineering)



- Passion for e-mobility



- Knowledge of charging challenges and solutions for EVs with relevant work experience



- Strong customer orientation with a real sense for the market



- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills



- Agile mindset with ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment



- Experience in working globally with intercultural intelligence in a cross-functional context



- Ability and willingness to travel globally
