Talent Acquisition Lead

What you will do

The Talent Acquisition Lead will manage the ACCP Talent Acquisition service, ensuring that Amgen hires the best talent through an impactful, efficient and cost effective process. You will lead a team in devising creative candidate identification, attraction, pipelining and selection strategies to support the growth agenda of the ACCP. Your profound knowledge of core Talent Acquisition processes, practices and trends, combined with strong data savvy and consulting skills, will assist you in designing fit for purpose solutions for various affiliates within the region. Ultimately, you will ensure that the ACCP Talent Acquisition team consistently delivers a high-quality experience for candidates, managers and partners.

Your scope of responsibilities will also include:

  • Partnering with leaders and HRBPs on defining and executing hiring plans.
  • Working with local HRBPs, Talent Management and clients to assess talent gaps and future talent needs, define, execute and track appropriate plans of action.
  • Measuring recruitment performance via regular review of TA performance metrics, consultation with clients and stakeholders in order to ensure the TA service is fit for purpose and to explore opportunities for improvement.
  • Partnering with your team to develop compelling Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing strategies to help Amgen effectively attract the best talent
  • Ensuring Talent Acquisition plays an integral role in building diverse and inclusive teams
  • Supporting the development of hiring managers’ interview and selection capabilities
  • Managing the performance and development of your team.

Your data savvy helps you to ensure the delivery of impactful TA services and to identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Your proven people leadership experience assists you in building and developing the best team. 

These additional experience will help to position you for success:

  • Demonstrable track record leading Talent Acquisition for a site or function
  • Shown success in effectively managing various relationships in a complex matrix environment
  • Proven people management experience
  • Highly organized through handling multiple day to day tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to use market intelligence and other data sources to help define effective sourcing strategies
  • Fluency in English is a requirement. Professional proficiency in the following languages will be favorably viewed: German, French, Spanish, and Italian
  • University Degree

Preferred Requirements:

  • Broader HR experience in Generalist of COE roles e.g. HRBP or Talent Management
  • Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry would be ideal
