In this role you will have the opportunity to work with the marketing company leadership team and regional and global shared services leadership team in all facets of talent acquisition.

Key accountabilities

As the Malaysia Talent Acquisition Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies in partnership with the Human Resources Business Partners, Senior Business Leaders and Hiring Managers to identify and fill vacancies with the right talent, capability and skills in a timely and cost efficient manner. You will involve in proactive activity in anticipating talent needs, recruitment demand forecasting, developing and executing sourcing plans.

  • Develop & execute the talent acquisition strategy to build a rich external talent pipeline directly linked to key roles/critical skills in AstraZeneca. Ensuring successful conversion of talent pipeline prospects into active candidates and then hires.
  • Building short-medium term talent pools for leadership roles via talent scouting.
  • Plan & build Astrazeneca employer branding strategy.
  • Responsible for end-to-end recruiting activities including screening, interviewing, pre- selecting, offer management and handling the hiring administration process.
  • Responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience to all stakeholders and candidates
  • Responsible for exploring and developing new and innovative recruiting channels based on market insight.
  • Managing third party providers to required procurement and policy standards.

Essential requirements

  • You should have experience in supporting Pharmaceutical and Shared Services companies with extensive recruiting experience in one or more geographies and /or prior HRBP or HR CoE experience is desired.
  • You shall be subject matter expertise in employer branding, recruitment marketing and social media with evidence of leading campaigns and educating business partners.
  • You will need to have an enterprise-wide approach with the ability to consider the bigger picture in day to day interactions and prioritisations.
  • Project management skills and ability to meet deliver and drive activities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to quickly build proven relationships across a range of key partners and customers.
