Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Talent Acquisition Partner for Biopharma R&D you will be responsible for delivering Talent Acquisition solutions, seamlessly across international borders, in partnership with the Hiring Manager/ Team Manager/ HRBP and Talent Acquisition colleagues to proactively identify and fill vacancies with talented individuals with the right capability and skills in a fast-paced challenging market.

Staying true to our values, with an emphasis on the best possible candidate and hiring manager experience, using our talent attraction resources, you will partner with the business, proactively developing and executing sourcing plans for individual roles, as well as wider campaigns. This includes; building global talent pipelines, conducting direct sourcing activity, research, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting, offer management and managing the hiring administration process.

Where required, you will work with our internal Talent Scout team for senior hires/pipelines of talent, as well as recruitment marketing & employer branding teams for campaigns, working with 3rd party agencies from our approved vendor list where necessary. Your role will include opportunities to influence external talent pipelines and early talent through supporting and attending Conferences, College and Career Fairs - ensuring consistency in messaging and materials for recruitment branding and skill set targeting. 

Using your recruitment subject matter knowledge, you will advise the business about recruitment responsibilities, legal requirements and appropriate candidate management techniques; provide resources and tools as needed to educate and enhance the skills of individuals involved in the hiring processes, working with the business to ensure continuous levelling up of manager knowledge. 

You will also support one or more central Talent Acquisition projects locally and/or globally.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of delivering full life cycle, global recruitment services in this sector

  • Experience of planning and leading international, complex recruitment campaigns for hard-to fill skills sets (for example, physicians/biometrics/regulatory) using a range of methods, tools attraction channels

  • Within your area of specialism, ability to guide and mentor business stakeholders, HRBP’s as well as colleagues within talent acquisition

  • Ability to pool knowledge from TAq (and other) centres of excellence to create balanced business cases, presenting to stakeholders for resources required to successfully execute sourcing strategies.

  • Persuading & influencing skills, with a strong ability to manage expectations.

  • Stakeholder management and relationship building skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing agile environment

  • Customer focused, results orientated approach

  • Experienced in hiring globally and UK Immigration processes

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Educated to degree level

  • Broad understanding of Pharma industry
