Role Headline Develops, proposes and / or implements talent acquisition (TA) policies and global mobility management (GMM), methods, processes and programs, and advises managers and / or employees accordingly focusing on LCB South Africa and its assigned countries. Responsibilities of the Role The TA Professional is accountable for the recruitment standards and processes from start to finish to identify, select and hire candidates across both Technical and Commercial functions. Hire at all levels from entry and school leaver positions to director level roles, so you’ll handle a varied workload. Supports management in the design and development of talent acquisition policies, guidelines, methods and tools. Coach team members on standards and skills in Talent Acquisition and Global Mobility Management, and train business and P&O stakeholders in best practices. Support management in the design and development of talent acquisition policies, guidelines, methods and tools. Keep our ATS (Avature) up to date and you’ll ensure an inclusive approach to recruitment in every aspect of the process. Plans and executes projects to improve recruiting processes and the Siemens brand internally and externally. Be an active member of the global TA community and keep abreast of hiring trends and market insight. The TA Professional is be responsible for the running of the assessment centre and arranging as well as analysing/providing feedback on assessment results to candidates and managers. Cooperates with and advices P&O operations and or P&O business partners or line management in related matters. Advises employees and managers on all aspects relating to international assignments in local or delegation center role. Maintains a close relationship with country P&O and the delegation centre on international assignments to coordinate local requirements i.e. income calculation and contractual topics. Qualifications and Experience Relevant Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent (Advantageous) 3 - 5 years proven experience in the fields of recruitment and resourcing experience, inclusive of in-house recruiting. Must be skilled at direct sourcing using standard talent acquisition tools, coupled with a strong knowledge of attraction strategies across a wide variety of platforms. Needs leadership abilities to guide business management with highly qualified individuals. Knowledge of relevant country-specific laws, regulations, and customs. Attributes and skills Our TA partners really are experts in the field, so you’ll need to show a deep expertise in best practices in recruitment, including a thorough knowledge of basics of employment legislation related to recruitment, diversity & inclusion best practices and an innovative and flexible approach to sourcing strategy. If you’ve got some skills gained in recruitment within the industrial software industry, we definitely want to talk to you – expertise in sourcing for candidates with Engineering, Technology, IT, R&D skills and digitalization knowledge would be very valuable to us as a team.
