Job Purpose
The position supports and animates the Accor Talent & Culture network within the country for all employees with the objective of implementing an efficient Talent & Culture system which answer the needs for the region existing hotel network and future growth.
The position also acts as Accor Vietnam Office Manager, which includes all tasks linked to the office day to day supervision for all departments/employees based at Vietnam Regional Office.
The position partners with operational leaders from hotels and other Accor regional offices in Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea to implement consistent and fair employment conditions and practices in compliance with Accor Talent & Culture worldwide policies and local regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
Country recruitment & mobility
- Work with VPO and regional team to propose GMs profiles to the Owners
- Work with the regional team to ensure the proposed package of GMs are following Accor standards and expectations of the Owners.
- Liaise with the Owning companies/ hotel T&C Leaders to get GMs on board timely and legally
- Promote local employees mobility
- Ensure Accor recruitment charter is followed by all entities
- Anticipate critical recruitment needs and maintain a database of potential candidates
Country T&C templates, standards and SOP
- Set the necessary labor templates for both hotel and Corporate usage: Contract, Addendum, Agreements…
- Ensure the consistency of Asia Pacific SOP applying at hotels
- Liaise with Hotel T&C Leaders to update on regular basic to make sure the certain labor legalities applied at all entities
New pre-opening hotels
- Work with GMs on Manning plan, Salary & Benefit scale following Accor SOP, standards and local labor laws.
- Executive the recruitments for key HODs of the hotels until the arrival of the hotel T&C
- Coach new T&C Leaders
T&C Communications
- Highlight and propose solutions to the VPO on local legal matters
- Conduct regular trainings/ meetings/ T&C Market Place
Talent & Culture Development & Talent Management
- Work in conjunction with Vietnam hotel General Managers, Talent & Culture Leaders and Learning & Development Manager Vietnam to ensure the successful application of talent programs and to identify talent for future programs.
- Arrange and organize talent assessment centers within Vietnam.
Talent & Culture reporting & surveys
- Manage the monthly & annual reports of Accor to provide accurate figures on time.
- Coordinate to launch the surveys requesting from regional level is applied and submitted on time.
C.S.R Ethic Charter & Compliance
- Promote equal opportunity to every individual, taking only skills into account at every step of an employee professional career path.
- Communicate C.S.R Ethics Charter and initiatives throughout Vietnam Office, Vietnam hotels and also to Owners, business partners via internal & external communication channels.
- Initiate activities which promote interactions with local communities in a way which is responsible and sustainable.
Vietnam Corporate Office supervision
- Responsible to ensure the proper organization and administration of the Accor Vietnam Regional Office.
- Implement office standard operating procedure (SOP) which promotes the best possible Accor corporate image & proper function.
- Supervise all office employees’ attendance and ensure everyone behavior is in line with Accor corporate standards.
- Report any anomaly directly to the VP Talent & Culture as needed.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role with a sound understanding of hotel operations
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business and Administration Management or a similar field of study
- Technical knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office tools is required
- Knowledge of Iabour laws in Vietnam
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, in English and Vietnamese.
