About the position:

Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following missions:

• To ensure the effective development of recruitment, selection and onboarding processes, as well as their exit, positioning itself as an ambassador and complying with regulations in accordance with local labor law.
• Ensure the implementation of employees performance management processes (review, feedback and appraisal).
• Define engagement strategies, which promote a great work environment and aloe to optimize productivity.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures on the administrative management of the employees (payroll, compensation, and benefits) in order to optimize talent retention and strengthen the employer brand.
• Oversee the development of training plans to ensure performance according to the needs of each position, as well as the identification of high potentials employees for succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with labor legislation in all areas under his/her responsibility and those others that impact on human resources and their work in the company.
• Lead and coordinate salary and performance review activities in the Hotel
• Mediate negotiation processes with employees committee and Unions to ensure the greatest possible benefit for both parties.
• Generate ideas proposals for continuous change, in terms of human resource management, in order to attract, retain and develop the best talent, and be competitive in the market.

About you:

• Ideally previous experience of at least 5 years in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to lead the team, coach and positively influence the team.
• Education: Degree in Law, Psychology, ADE or related discipline.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, French will be a plus.
• Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint, HR software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, remain calm and problem solving.
• People oriented, strong service orientation.
• Strong leadership who can make tough decisions
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate and communicate with a diverse group of individuals
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Aware of HR trends and practices in the marketplace
• Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively
• Highly ethical, responsible, and reliable
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
