Talent & Culture Manager
Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley is a successful 4.5 star hotel comprising 200 guest rooms, restaurant/bar & conference facilities, situated in a bustling business district and at the gateway of the Dandenong Ranges.
Working directly with the Hotel General Manager, this hands-on role will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Talent & Culture (HR) Department. Main responsibilities will include:
- Provide support in all areas of Recruitment, Talent and Development of our people
- Manage the employee lifecycle from an administration perspective including onboarding / offboarding, induction, employee changes, employment contracts, employee paperwork and recognition.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees
- Provide advice and support to management in general work relations matters and any employee conflict resolutions
- Prepare end of month HR and business reporting
- Manage communication channels through to employees
- Support to hotel team including annual reviews, WGEA reporting, audits, policies & procedures and governance
About You:
- A creative problem solver with strong commercial aptitude, outstanding engagement skills, with demonstrated experience in the field of people management and employee relations
- The ability to build human connections and turn difficult conversations around to have positive outcomes
- The ability to manage and deliver on competing priorities
- A proactive can-do attitude with initiative and desire to grow and develop yourself
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HRM preferred.
