Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central is a dual branded hotel with 472 rooms conveniently located in the CBD.

What we're looking for?

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a decisive, innovative and a dynamic leader, who is supportive and thrives on building human connection.

You model the values of respect, integrity, teamwork and empowerment that facilitates extraordinary careers and lasting memories for our team. You are a team-oriented self-starter and multi-tasker able to work independently.

You are a keen listener and a problem-solver, passionate about developing innovative ideas to drive our employee engagement strategy.

What you will be doing?

• Manage and control all Talent & Culture functions and activities ensuring they meet the operational needs of the hotel.
• Support full cycle recruitment activities.
• Sensitively manage industrial relations within the hotel.
• Provide advice based on your experience working with the Fair Work Act and Industrial Instruments.
• Manage Work Cover claims.
• Assist the General Manager with employee relations initiatives, implement reward and recognition programs.
