Job Description

The Talent & Culture department is looking for an organized and service- oriented people expert, responsible for T&C related support as defined in the HMA & Franchise Agreements. In addition, this role is also responsible for the rollout and implementation of strategic HR topics in all segments and brands across the AccorHotels portfolio in DACH, in accordance with local laws and regulations.

What you will be doing: 

The most important responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Offering of quality HR advisory services and support in the areas of recruitment and selection, onboarding, personnel development, succession planning, employer branding as well as personnel management
  • Steering of corporate key strategies and programs and support during implementation
  • Consultation on development of HOD star talent and General Managers
  • Finding solutions on operational HR topics as they occur or as part of continuous improvement efforts in addition to those provided by head office
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Monitoring of the talent pipeline for GMs as well as HODs for readiness to take next position
  • Proposal of suitable selection tools from internal or external sources
  • Presentation of T&C topics at periodic meetings at key locations within DACH (Platzmeetings, Franchise Beiratssitzung, VPO Meeting)
  • Development of onboarding  plans for GMs
  • Integration training for GMs covering statutory aspects
  • Provision of policies and procedures
  • Support and advisory services with their implementation and application

Your experience and skills include:

  • Hotel industry experience
  • Human Resources experience is a plus
  • Organizational talent and strong team and communication skills
  • Social media affinity
  • Discretion, loyalty, initiative, sense of responsibility
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Experienced handling of MS Office
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Service Provider mentality for our hotels and our talents
  • Languages: German and English, French an advantage

Your team and working environment:

This position is based in Austria/ Vienna. You will join the DACH Talent & Culture team (Germany, Austria and Switzerand) and you will report directly to the Head Talent & Culture DACH. As part of the Northern Europe Hub you will exchange with other Country Talent & Culture team members on a regular basis.

You should be eligible to fulfill the requirements for a work permit in Austria.
