Talent & Culture Supervisor

  

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Talent & Culture, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
  • Manages employee file audits as needed
  • Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies; recommend and create policies and procedures as business needs dictate
  • Implement and ensure adherence to all human resources standards, policies and procedures established by the hotel/corporate office
  • Communicates all benefit plans to employees during onboarding and provide updates throughout their employment
  • Advise employees on how to maximize their benefits and provide support to colleagues and leaders
  • Ensures all deadlines are met for enrolments, reporting and payment of benefit plans
  • Manages employee benefit enrolment and termination from plans and review all invoices for accuracy
  • Manages administration for hotel's 401k plan
  • Administer & Manage workers compensation program, updating OSHA logs
  • Assist leaders on a Return to Work Program for modified work duties
  • Assists in tracking and monitoring all leave programs to ensure legal and company compliance, including all FML tracking
  • Manage monthly Audits & reports to ensure company’s compliance
  • Organizes and participates in hotel's Wellness Program
  • Promotes hotel's Wellness Program through bulletin boards, internal email communication, contests, events, meetings, seminars, etc.
  • Active member of the hotel's Health & Safety Committee and assists in safety training initiatives
  • Processes and maintains confidential information for benefit and payroll administration
  • Liaises with payroll regularly to ensure the accuracy of invoicing for all benefit plans
  • Ambassador of Talent & Culture team by organizing and participating in colleague events and hotel committees
  • Assists Talent & Culture team in other areas of the department
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in benefit administration a strong asset
  • Previous experience in hospitality an asset
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Management systems an asset
