Are you looking for an opportunity to lead the Talent, Leadership and Organizational Development activities across various functions of a global organization? If so, this is the role for you.

This position will be responsible for GSK’s overall people strategy regarding performance development process, organization effectiveness, culture integration etc. It will work closely with global COE on leadership development, talent assessment, organization and talent reviews (succession planning), change management, capabilities, and learning curriculum.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Lead and drive the development of interventions for leadership and organizational development through initiatives across the organization
  • Manage talent development, movement, and career path to ensure retention, engagement, and development of talent at all levels
  • Identify leadership development needs at the organizational and individual level and design programs and interventions to address these issues
  • Design and implement leadership development interventions to suit the needs at various levels of the organization
  • Champion and drive Organization Development interventions across the organization
  • Serve as the process owner for the Performance and Development process while building capabilities of line managers for further strengthening the process
  • Develop and promote both behavioral and functional based competency related behaviors
  • Design competency mapping for diverse roles in varied functions of the business
  • Promote and reinforce the culture of rewarding and recognizing ‘right’ behaviors
  • Design, deploy, and manage the talent processes
  • Ensure that the leadership bench strength is always strong and available for future opportunities
  • Design and implement organizational development (OD) related tools and GSK surveys that indicate the climate and other metrics of organizational health
  • Conduct Talent Reviews for all levels to identify and make plans for talent across the business
  • Manage the succession planning process to meet current and future business needs

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources
  • 12+ years’ experience in the following areas: Leadership and Organizational Development, Talent Management, Coaching Leaders, organizational structures and design practices, leading and delivering change, HR systems and processes, service delivery, knowledge management, HR Governance and Risk Management
  • Experience with world class HR organization known for excellence in talent management and demonstrated ability to have impact on business results, preferred with consulting experience
  • Ability to conduct organizational assessments and determine the appropriate OD intervention
  • An enthusiastic, high energy leader with well developed influencing skills with the confidence and ability to work at all levels of the organization
  • Strong business / HR acumen, who can work well in a complex, matrix environment supporting diversified businesses with multiple stakeholders
  • A transnational minded leader who is results focused, can execute on ideas, a resourceful process oriented “doer”

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources with a Certification in Talent Management and Training and Organizational Development
  • Broad knowledge of organizational structures
  • Ability to deliver and drive change and operational excellence
  • Ability to work in multiple diverse markets
  • Project Management experience
  • Strategic thinker
