Location: Taiwan (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and coordinating recruitment activities and application processes for new translation vendors
  • Advertising for applicants and actively contacting potential freelances to encourage application to RWS
  • Processing applications, organizing tests and evaluations and entering details of successful candidates on Vendor Database
  • Compiling ongoing statistics to measure effectiveness of recruitment sources and methodology
  • Tracking multiple leads and applications accurately and efficiently to enable quick retrieval
  • Creating, rolling-out and tracking of the Purchasing Plans.
  • Maintaining integrity of all data on Vendor Database for resources, language combinations and subject matter areas applicable to your office
  • Carrying out rate negotiation and acting as main contact for non-project communications with vendors
  • Analysing expenditure data to validate and strengthen the effectiveness of our cost control strategy
  • Supporting users to understand Vendor Database rules and checking compliance
  • Instructing and training users to use the Vendor Database in the most effective way
  • Informing in-house Translation Team of new vendors added, and promoting and monitoring their active integration in live projects. Also, monitoring utilization of vendors to ensure balanced usage
  • Ensuring new vendors have clear understanding of RWS’s expectations and procedures
  • Developing expert knowledge and awareness of RWS vendors and the vendor community in your territory, to be able to advise on freelances and pick up useful information and contacts for strengthening RWS’s vendor supply chain

 

Requirements:

  • 2 years or longer experience in localization industry, open to any kinds of function, such as project manager, linguistic roles, client development, vendor manager, recruitment manager, etc.
  • knowledge in direct sourcing and effective interviewing techniques a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to negotiate
  • PC literate with good experience of MS Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Advanced knowledge of Internet searching and Boolean logic
  • Native in Taiwan Traditional Chinese, business level or fluent in English
