 The Talent Researcher is accountable for supporting the development of key global recruiting talent pipelines for specified business areas/roles, working in partnership with Talent Scouts, Global Talent Acquisition Leads and Country Talent Acquisition Partners. Accountable for the identification, pre-screening, role alignment and tracking of high calibre candidates, utilising the full spectrum of direct sourcing and research methodologies.

Job Description

  • Support the Talent Scouts to identify and develop key talent pipelines.
  • Support Talent Acquisition leads and Partners to construct research to produce “candidate long lists” against active business critical recruitment, within area of focus.
  • Conduct activity to deliver market mapping projects (globally) and support building talent pipelines for identified roles. Utilising market insight to both support pipelines growth and build business knowledge.
  • Conduct Market research, company profiling, mapping and candidate identification for both pipelines and active roles at mid to senior levels, under the direction of the Talent Scout or Talent Acquisition lead.
  • Own the tracking of candidate’s data, including entry management into internal databases and develop the successful management of candidate pipelines on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for external events in order to strongly promote AZ employment brand and identify targeted talent populations.
  • Maintain database/Pipelines to ensure view of where key talent is available for the business area.
  • Ensure that key external talents have been pre-screened where required
  • Monitor relevant recruitment metrics and identify improvement opportunities
  • Act as source of expertise for candidate identification with Talent Acquisition for the business area.

Required skills and experience

Essential:

  • Recruitment or candidate sourcing experience within a similar fast-paced environment OR pharmaceutical industry knowledge and experience
  • Capability of building credibility with candidates at all levels
  • Evidence use of direct search / research methodologies (i.e LinkedIn, ATS and other recruitment tools) to identify and engage with top talent
  • Inquisitive, Curious personality, enjoys learning and discovery
  • Detail oriented and comfortable with analysing and presenting data
  • Tenacity and resilience
  • Delivery focused
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English – written and spoken
  • Proactive approach in addressing obstacles/barriers
  • Team Player – Collaborative style of working, sharing successes with wider team

Desirable:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience of working and sourcing candidates internationally within/for a large global matrix organisation
  • Multilingual would be advantageous to support a global marketplace
  • Research/Mapping experience gained within an executive search environment/function is highly desirable.
