Job Description

Talent and Development Advisor

We design, develop and execute local management development, organisational development and talent programmes and interventions ensuring they are aligned with the global strategy.

The purpose of the role is to support the Talent & Development Lead in all T&D activities across the Site. Working on every aspect of the end to end L&D process, you will be primarily involved in coordinating events and organising training courses, both internal and delivered by our external training providers. You may also be involved in the learning needs analysis and designing and delivering classroom-based workshops and online learning by partnering with our local HR team and business leaders.       

Main accountabilities:

  • Acts as the central point of contact for all L&D queries
  • Works closely with the Talent & Development Lead to identify training and development requirements for the specialist areas
  • Coordinates and organises internal and off-site events in the area of management development and soft skills
  • Designs and develops training materials for local T&D curriculum
  • Delivers training (virtual and face to face) across the Site as required
  • Assists in commissioning L&D solutions from external providers
  • Maintains up-to-date records of learner development and existing course content
  • Analyses and reports on course evaluations and feedback and makes recommendations for any improvements

Essential requirements for the role:

  • University Degree
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken)
  • Experienced in use of a variety of software / systems
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Highly customer focused
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable requirements for the role:

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online learning
  • Experience of designing training materials
  • Experience of delivering training (virtual and face to face)
  • Experience in working in a highly complex and multicultural environment
